Dr. Steve Ringold
Dr. Steve Ringold studied zoology at the University of California, Davis and received his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 1994. After completing a small animal medicine and surgery internship at Colorado State University, Dr. Ringold lived in New Mexico where he participated in a research project studying black bear populations.
Dr. Ringold practiced emergency medicine, worked in general practice and volunteered at various wildlife facilities in San Diego, California for 10 years prior to realizing his love for diagnostic imaging. Dr. Ringold completed a diagnostic imaging residency at the University of Missouri in Columbia, Missouri in July, 2008.
Dr. Ringold lives in Washington, DC with his wife Rachel and their children, Ethan, Asher, Ilan and Sophia, their dog Kasha and their cat, Superfly. Dr. Ringold works with local specialists, general practitioners and is a tele-radiologist.
When he is not working or spending time with his family, Dr. Ringold enjoys snowboarding, backpacking, ultimate Frisbee, and pottery. And, of course, Dr. Ringold loves the mountains.
