Lauren Thraen

Lauren started at VEPC in September of 2015, after moving from Iowa. She works 1-2 shifts a week, as she splits her time between VEPC and CMC’s Veterinary Technology program, where she works as an assistant professor. Lauren graduated from Iowa State University in 2008 and then CMC in 2010 and has been working as a veterinary technician ever since. She feels very fortunate to say that while some days can be hard, she loves the job as much now as the day she graduated.

On days off, she enjoys spending time with her husband, son and dog (Bella). Her hobbies also include cooking, hiking, gardening and reading.
