Rebecca Everest Palmer
CVT, Head Tech
Rebecca is originally from northern Michigan, moving to the Roaring Fork Valley in the fall of 2006 to pursue a career in Veterinary Technology. She attended Colorado Mountain College’s Veterinary Technology Program and graduated in 2009. After a summer of relief work at the Aspen Animal Hospital, she was hired at Valley Emergency Pet Care in August 2009.
For Rebecca, it is all about the animals and their owners at any time of the day or night. “People may not remember what you said or did but they will remember how you made them feel.” On the emergency side of medicine, this quote is important to Rebecca because in an emergency, a client often will not remember exactly what happened, but that client will remember how they felt after having a pet in our care.
Rebecca has two wonderful rescue dogs – Jasper, a Pit Bull/Mastiff and Olivine, a Pit Bull/American Bull Dog. Both dogs frequently accompany her on hikes or while she is snowshoeing in Colorado’s beautiful back country.
